CFW manufactures heavy-duty aluminium impellers designed specifically for applications where the direction of airflow needs to be reversed. This includes wood drying kilns and tea withering processes.

The range consists of adjustable pitch impellers from Ø800 mm to Ø2000 mm, for temperatures up to 200°C.

Reversible impeller fans are commonly utilised where wood, tea and other slow-drying products must be stacked or layered in the drying area. Certain drying systems are prone to give uneven results. This is because the placement of the product leads to one side of the stack or layer drying more quickly.

In such cases, reversible impeller fans help to encourage more even drying by changing the direction of airflow so that a different side of the product stack is facing the airflow.
